Voodoo magic
(OK, so there may be plenty of posts related to this - but hey - just wanted to post my first mod)
Ordered a spun Ti Team Voodoo shift knob from Rick. An immaculate knob arrived promptly and well packaged. A little teflon tape later and I just had to take it for a test drive.
What a noticable improvement to an already excellent shifting transmission. All the prior comments about a shorter shift arc and lower ball height are spot on: snick-snick, only more so. Being able to keep your arm resting on the console only enhances the feeling that you are encased in an F1 car. Additionally, I really like the way the Voodoo knob feels in the hand: the ball shape and tactile feel of the spun Ti.
I find myself often fondling this knob; which is about as close to masturbating in a car as you can get!

Good to see that the Voodoo knob brought a smile to yet another S2000 driver. Did you end up getting the magnum or standard size? This is going to be my next mod, I'm just having a hard time deciding on which size to get....
The main reason is that I've read (on this board) that the standard size is just big enough; any smaller and it would be too small. Maybe the magnum is the way to go? Wish I could hold them in person.

I got the standard size. Rick's site says the magnum is only for large hands. I wear a size 8 glove and I find the standard size to be a good allbeit somewhat smallish fit. It's still bigger than the stock knob.
Magnum, I think is about 10% larger and would probably also work.
