Default Vortex Generators

I was wondering if anyone has used the vortex generator for their S2000. I really like higher MPG (who wouldn't esp. in calif. bay area?) and is wondering if there are any noticable gains for 15 bucks?

here is a pic and link

If those actually worked, don't you think car manufacturers would spend the 50 cents it'd cost to make one of those (a can of Coke) and get better numbers out of their vehicles? If anything, it's creating more restriction in the intake.

I've never seen an unbiased, "independant" test of these things that found that they did anything at all. The "only" folks who sing the praises of this product are the folks that sell them!

If you have to buy one, go for it, but don't be surprised if it doesn't live up to the advertising.

Good luck,
Steve R.

I bought a carbon fiber one off ebay. I was afraid that the metal ones would add too much weight to the car and slow it down. After installing it I have seen an increase in my gas mileage by up to 12 mpg. It's also free'd up some of the restricted horse power that my car is loosing due to an inefficient AF mixture, now when my car hits VTECH it's much more faster than ever before.

I love it, worth every penny, go out and buy one for your friends, family and neighbors and their cousins.
