A kid tried to tell me one time that he had one of these and so his car was turbocharged. wtf? I told him all you need now is one of those blow off valve noise makers that you bolt to your exhaust tip and then people might believe you.

They do help cut up the random squirrels and small birds that get sucked into the intake with the air filter off. It cuts em up really nice to increase the mammal-bird-air-fuel ration for more combustion! But if you do it, just make sure you get them phased properly, or the second one will undo the beneficial effects of the first one -- the first one will vortexize the intake air just like it's supposed to, but the second one, if you mount it the wrong way, will unvortexize it.
Then you'll have spent all that money for nothing.
