I noticed that steps 5 & 6 in the pics that Marcus posted say to rotate the crank COUNTERclockwise but the illustration shows rotating it clockwise. It says first adjust No. 1, but then doesn't specify which cylinder is adjusted in the next steps. Is it 1 2 3 4?

The diagrams that Destiny2002 posted in his writeup though ALWAYS rotate the crank clockwise. The adjustment order is specified as 1 3 4 2.

Just a heads up for anyone going to attempt this.

Possibly two different ways of doing it? Perhaps order of cylinders is different? Too much for me to figure out. I'd do it the way that is clearly spelled out which would be what Desitny2002 posted.

I just wanted people to be aware there was a difference. Screwing up your valve adjustment would not be good.
