I want to tap onto the security LED without having to remove the speedo dash. Anyone know where is the wiring under the dash board?

your ear and foot can notice the difference, why waste time/energy on letting a 3rd sense know?

 

it's useful for at the track, which you don't usually look at your tach that much, and the noise and helmet and all the shebang you sometime forgets what gear you are in, easy.

it's a simple question, don't over think.

 

so can pple stop asking why? why must it be this way or that way? Why not ask why not? there's always 2 sides to a coin.

I have always rewired all the gadget after its been installed on my rex. sometime I wired gadgets myself. like my water-methanol injection kit; my laser detector, replace my own bulbs within the illum switches.. so why not?

This is a simple mod. Just trying to make it simpler for others who wish to follow bob/modifry.

This is the closest I saw. Notice the use of resistors and such. You can't just connect a 12V power source to a LED, without burning out the LED. You need about a 10K resistor in series to protect the diode.
