don't do it!!! you're actually creating a dangerous situation because at high reverse speed your ABS will not work!!!!

what would be a comparable final drive to equal the same gearing in reverse?

I nailed it in a parking lot once but ran out of room at 5K or so. Feels crazy quick, but then again it is totally different feeling in reverse

AP1- 48 MPH at redline in reverse AP2- 41MPH

haha this is a great topic. I actually tried this too back when I had my 92' GS-R integra. And sure enough it engaged, amazing what being bored will do to you

Possibly, I did it a couple times in my B16 Civic.
You have to be driving in vtec, then go to neutral and blip the throttle quickly. Only happened to me a couple times after many years of ownership though.

I think it's not that common because you don't usually blip higher than 6K rpms, and you usually grab a good bit of brakes first before blipping.
