haha, I dont know about the warranty although I think you can buy some sort of warranty afterwards...

I can tell you this though... hehe, I know where you are coming from in the change... I came from a VR6 myself..

A change is right, the S2000 will actually spend more time in your garage than at the shop http://www.time.com/time/globalbusiness/ar...-543826,00.html

Interesting: Between me and my brothers and my father: we have had 3 Jettas, One Passat, One GTI

The only thing that has gone bad between ALL OF THESE CARS is in my last GTI and my step-sister's Jetta... The window fell. Which is not uncommon though. But still.. thats it.

The only other thing that happens is that MAF sensor's go bad.. but that happens when you use air filters with oil.

I dono... in reality, I never really had too many problems with any of my VWs...

GTI's are cool- but S2000 is completely different animal. Not very practical, but definitely a real sports car. Have fun shopping.

Remember, when you drive S2000 forget all you know about cars.

GTi driving is like child walk compared to S2000
You will kill yourself trying to drive your S2000 like you drive your GTI.

Trust me, I sold my 2002 GTi 1.8t before my S2000

happy shopping
