They aren't changing the S until the 05' model comes out. I dont know what changes or how drastic they will be but there making some changes. I would go ahead and get one and then move up to the new model when it comes out in late 04'

no one knows if the 04 will be better or worse. rumor has it that the 04 will have more displacement, more peak torque at a lower rpm, lower redline rpm, revised gear ratio to better take advantage of the new powerband, and softer suspension setup to make the ride less harsh. if those are the features you desire then wait for the 04. otherwise, get the 03.

if you're gonna do that, then you're better off getting a used 02 (which is identical to the 03), and then trade it in for a 05 when it comes out. this way, you will not lose as much money in the process. the difference in price between a new 03 and a used 02 out the door will be around $3000-$4000. and when it comes time to getting rid of either of the two cars a year and a half from now, the 03 will depreciate by around $3000, whereas the 02 will depreciate by around $1500. given the conservative estimated figures, you do the math and decide which is financially more sound for your situation.

They are changing the S2000 for the 04 model not the 05 model. Search the site for info on this. It's been officially released that the 04 model will be 2.2L with interior upgrades and a few exterior differences. I've heard rumors about the engine being I-VTEC but I'm not for sure on that. I do know though that it will be a 2.2L. Check out this link

If you can afford it get an 03"

IMHO if the 04' has a new engine and other issues it may be a new list of tsb's. Get the S2000 while it is still () an S2000.
