yes VTEC fluid is crucial in the s2k, so many owners neglect this and next thing you know...read the TSB TST or TSA on it.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. The fronts should be good for 25k miles or so, but the rears...well that's another story - maybe 25k MAX. I doubt those are the original tires with 35k - they must be slicks in the rears by now even with the most conservative driving.

Agreed, check the records for the diff and tranny fluid. Diff is more critical. Also worth it to bleed the clutch if it hasn't been done, same with the brakes while you're at it.

Congrats on the car! If you replace the rear tires with anything other than the oem S02s, be sure to get 245s. For some reason, that's the closest match to the Bridgestones.
