Wait til you read this...
OK....ready to hear this nightnare?? I had the car fixed by a dent repair place called SAMEDAY. They repaired the front spoiler, but wait to you hear what else they did.
They also offered to repair a small ding in the rear panel and assured me that it would look "perfect". Guess what? It was far from perfect. As a matter of fact, it's 1,000 times worse now than it was before. I'd try to explain what it looks like, but I can't. It's appears "wavy"....clearcoat doesn't match, etc. When I saw what they had done, I could have killed someone.
Wait.....there's more. When spraying the repaired ding, the "over spray" covered the entire convertible top as well as the passenger side and hood of the car. Nice, right?
I have to admit, SAMEDAY is being VERY agreeable to all my demands (probably fearful of a lawsuit). They are paying for ALL my expenses, including, but not limited to:
1) new convertible top (my question....can I get the new 2002 top with the glass rear window instead of the plastic???)
2) all body work necessary put my car in showroom condition.
3) all the Zaino that I will be needing to bring my car back to it's original luster.
4) any and all incidential damages that I suffer as a result of their screw up.
To make a long story even longer, can I have installed the new convertible top with the glass rear window in my 2001 S2000???
Thanks in advance for everyone's advice...

That place sounds like it's run by a bunch if idiots ... which often is the case with some of these places unfortunately. I hope you rape them for every penny you deserve, AND MORE for your mental suffering and waste of time. That's ridiculous how they could have been so careless with your pride and joy.
my gawd...how can a place like that stay in business?
I have to wonder though, who recommended this place to you? Don't ever pick a body shop out of the phone book. And don't think that having it the "SAMEDAY" is better than having it done right. I'm guessing that name is meant to attract people who want a quick fix and any good body shop will have a waiting list and may have to schedule you many days in advance.

I hope the one responsible for the mess has to pay everything out of his own pocket. Wouldn't be a cheap lesson for him.
Get yourself the new (glass rear window) top assembly - it fits allright as far as I know.
Call your competent
Honda dealer before they order it to verify that though.
