IBTL

There was even a letter in the Wall Street Journal this week about the S2000 being available for 2008.

i'm very disappointed with this site. im actually concerned because i cant purchase until 2008 and i thought the car was going for one more year with two trim levels (standard and CR). i always come this site because i respected the members and the feedback they always provided was mature and helpful.

...sigh.

As much interest as I have in this car, let alone any cars, I just don't feel like chasing peoples' guesses at the future. If I did, I would've been pinned to Entertainment Tonight while the Anna Nicole Smith case unfolded...

But you asked a stupid question. None of us know, so why bother asking us?

Guess it didn't provoke the expected reaction from everyone. I know where OP is coming from because I have habit of saying whatever is on my mind to hear other peoples' thoughts all the time. But you can't go and get mad if they don't have an answer or anything useful to say...

Don't be mopey, ShowTime. You'll like us all again when you need help with something and get a helpful response

Till then, IBTL

Well, there's a MYXX thread for a reason, to prevent 20,000 threads like this a month. Others have found that thread (it is stickied at the top after all) so there's no good excuse for you to post this thread to begin with.

Also, there are still tons of these threads every year and it gets old.. in 5 years you'll be posting IBTL or whatever the new retard slang is then as well..

Just to take a stab at the question, two points.
1. Just because they stop production doesn't mean they stop sales. They could make all 6000 of the 2008 S2000 in the next couple months, and sell them through 2009. Stoping production and stoping sale are two different things.
2. Don't believe a word written in these car mags, NOT-ONE-WORD. The S2000 has been rumored to go out of production since the year 2000.

Finally, read the stickys... IBTL
