you really think you could do 280whp with just bolt-on parts? does exhaust count as a bolt-on? if you want anything even close to 240whp or even 230whp you gotta do some internals man. i think there was a post b4 about going all out on j's racing, the person got I THInk i forgot around 220-230whp. But because of his retainers i think his engine failed. now think about it, only 220-230 and engine starts having problem. hmm i wonder what wil happen to a 280whp dd s2000.

are you going to get this done by a mechanic or by urself, if you are gettin a mechanic do it for you ill just buy a turbo, since your not gonna be learnin anything. if you are planning to do it yourself, i wouldn't mind going from N/A to turbo, cause you will be learning a lot from the experience and learning a lot from your car.

lol when you say monster s2000 it reminds me of the black lovefab s2000

I just love these sorts of threads.
I'm sitting here slapping my typing fingers just to keep from posting what I really think. Then out of the woodwork comes somebody who wants to compare a rotory engine with a reciprocating engine. Nice! Oh, I hear there's a turbine engine out there that'll produce something like 300 HP, but it's really tough to measure the displacement. Let's just say it's a 1L and call it the winner. Oh WAIT! There's this nuclear fission engine. They say it only occupies 1 cc of space.
Hey viper I think you should get off my back. I was responding to someones comment that was about ALL ENGINES.

Who gives a shit about crank hp? You gonna run around telling everyone " naw man i gotz 280 to the window crank"?

And maybe YOU should read a dictionary before replying to your own thread again. If you can't spell simple words like "which", "whole", and "commenting", then I honestly pity you. Don't even try to say they were typos, because you know damn well they arent

If you only want 280 at the crank then don't even bother going turbo. You'll be making too much power.

If you are looking for turbo kits, there's really no "best" it's on an individual basis and needs to suit your budget, mechanical level, goals. PM me if you want to go turbo to help you sort stuff out.
