The WRX is a good car to be getting. It already has a great aftermarket and it is a fun car to drive.

I think the WRX is a great car. The only problem I have with it is that it really isn't that good looking, but overall I think it is a good choice for car.

Btw...do you guys know if the WRX is made strictly in Japan, or is it 'assembled in the U.S.A.' from Japanese components...

Or is it strictly built in the U.S.?

If you can wait a like one more year, I say you should go get the Lancer Evo. It will be priced similarily to the WRX and it "should" be more powerful. Then again, if you work for one full year you'll be able to get that 10 grand and get a S. Hmmm.....decisions . Latez!

Hey man, don't despair. Be grateful for what you have. I drove a 1988 Honda Civic through college because it was all I could afford as a student.

The WRX is a fantastic car. It may not be a convertible, and it may not make the ladies' heads turn as much, but you're going to have a damn fun time driving the holy hell out of it! You can get a set of tires for that thing and go straight to the autocross track and learn driving skills that most people can't learn in their Honda Accords.

Don't be upset you can't get the S2k yet - give the WRX a chance. You'll have a blast.

Thanks every1...you're pretty much making me feel at least a bit better...

There's still a slight chance I may get an S2K, but should plans fail...I'm getting more and more comfy with the WRX

Somebody made a good point 2nd hand S2000?? They're about now and you could drop on a nice low mileage one.
