Default A warning to all VA drivers

I just thought I would let the community know about some recent changes in the traffic law here in VA. The fines for most traffic tickets just went off the deep end. Driving just 15 mph over in a 65 mph zone is considered reckless driving (and now over a $1200 ticket). 20 mph over anything else is also considered reckless. Not using your blinker is a $900 ticket. So drive safe until the backlash makes this ridiculous law disappear. http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007-0...ving-laws_N.htm

BTW - the law only applies to VA registered drivers, so no one else is at risk (including people driving through VA).

I commute into N. VA every morning and was thinking about moving, but this is just another nail in that coffin. You get what you vote for...

I'm sorry to hear that about VA. Not a state I think I'd want to live in (not that GA is that much better).

I hope this doesn't trend up, down, west, anywhere..

When I read this article from another forum I was in complete disbelief.
