I don't ever buy or sell things through the internet and these scams are the main reasons why.

Same scam used on Craigslist. Never send money via WU. It's gone.

i actually know of a guy who got scammed this way, but that was back in the day before this thing became a joke. was pretty sad though, because i'm sure lots of people got hit with this when it was first proliferating.

i hate scammers and cheaters.

I'm sure people still get hit with it. I wish I could report all I've come in contact with through craigslist and such but it isn't a big enough deal to law enforcement to track them down. It would be nice though...
