Just wanted everyone to be careful when cleaning the muffler tips. There's a very sharp edge inside the tip.

 

I know all about it. I was getting the soot off of the tips with my finger and a rag, and SLICE! OUCH!!!!! cut the ttip of my finger real good. Hurt for a couple of days.

 

LOOK OUT WE GOT A BLEEDER!

 

And I thought I was the only one to draw blood from an S2K exhaust tip

 

Squeezer......what were you doing sticking your finger up your cars veritable ACE?!

 

I'm also a victim of the exhaust tips..........one day polishing them with metal polish and a rag, then SLICE. OUCH!!

 

I had a wet rag and I was cleaning the very end of the exhaust tips where the black smokey buildup occurs and the rag wasn't doing a good job, so not thinking I put my finger there and started rubbing the black stuff off and SLICE!

 

I too am a victim of the sharp exhaust tip. I sliced mine so bad that I think I did something to the nerves because now whenever it gets really cold out the tip of my finger goes completely numb!

 

Hey Larry, remember, objects in the right rear view mirror are closer than they seem. I came close on the exhaust too, but barely scratched before realizing that that S**t could hurt ya!
