Default warranty question

Hey i just got my s2 about 2 weeks ago and was told that if i were to supercharge it the warranty would be void. However i saw a member on this site that got his put on at the dealership and had it certified how would i go about doing that?

You would need to locate a dealership that performs performance modifications, is a licensed dealer for Comptech(assuming that is the kit you're looking into), and is willing to cover their work. Just make some calls to dealers in your area. Just don't expect every dealer to do this kind of thing. Many are finally starting to sell and install aftermarket parts, but many still do not.

Good luck.

Exactly right.

The only parts I've commonly heard that are covered by Honda are Comptech, and then, only certain dealers will warranty the work. Also, you may want to note that while the dealership may warranty the supercharger install, they may not warranty say a transmission problem that can be directly linked to the excess stress placed on the tranny due to the supercharger (the fact that you have more power could cause more wear on pretty much the entire drivetrain).
