Washing the Car in the Winter
First off, some of you guys/gals who live in the south have no mercy, and you know who you are!
I wash my car religiously about every two weeks regardless of the weather (unless the hose freezes and I can't get it to work). I simply fill the bucket with fairly warm, soapy water, wash it off on a sunny day so the heat from the sun will keep the water from freezing on the car, and then rinse. I have had the water freeze on the paint a few times when I was trying to dry the car off, but it usually evaporates without leaving a spot since it's clean water. Just my 2 cents worth.

Amatuers, all of you...
I wash my baby every weekend (OK, Michelle has been neglected these past few weeks while I do other mods).
The complex I live in doesn't have a designated area to wash your baby, so I cart a bucket of warm water from the sixth floor and through part of the garage. Do THAT all winter long
