Default water dripping inside my car after a car wash

My car is new...5 days old. I just gave it a car wash and took it out for a drive. There is water drippin on me constantly, like one drop per minute on the. The water drips above the driver window, probably in the middle of the driver window. I'm not sure if this happens on the passenger side also.

Does this happen to any of you guys?

Was the top secure and the window fully up? Did you use a high pressure hose (or go to a carwash?)

If you take it through a car wash, that's the price you pay.

Of course, you'll probably get flamed by some members for not washing it yourself once a day and use zaino.

Personally, if I don't have time, I take it through a car wash, it's just a little water, so to me, it's no big deal.

I had this dripping once on the passenger side. The rubber gasket along the top of the window breaks in two when the top is lowered. The split between the halves is usually pretty tight, but that time water seeped through it into the space in the middle of the gasket and dripped back out later. All you need to do, I think, is lower the top once to empty it out and you'll be fine.

Yup, thats pretty common. There is a channel in the seal that tends to collect water. Try not to use high pressure when you spray near the roof - also in owners manual.

Its extra fun when you decide to go to a drive thru when its raining - water drips right onto the window / lock controls! Nice how that one worked out.

If you use the touchless car wash then water will be everywhere. The jet hoses point up and get under the top. Never go through them. I always wash my car by hand and only use quality materials. It's worth it in the long run.

I think it's to be expected if you use high pressure.. The times I wash it at home, it doesn't happen. But if I take it to the car wash and hose it down, water tends to ender those areas. It would also happen in a coupe I had, the water rushed in at a high pressure and finds any available opening.... Try not to aim the water directly into the windows..

Dawg...I would never take this car to a car wash, I washed it myself and applied 2 coats of zaino Z2, before my arm gave out. I originally planned to use 3 coats. Anyway, I guess I must have pointed my hose directly at the window, which may have caused some water to travel upwards towards the seal. NO MORE NEXT TIME!!!
