help plz
hello all.
i searched but didnt find anything so here goes..
i washed my car today and as i was drying the car i looked inside my passenger side window and noticed water on the shoulder of the passenger seat.. i opened the door and checked the top and the corner of the passenger side window.. just wanna know is this a common problem with any of u guys cars on here and if it is do u know y or how it happens and how to fix it?

Did you use high pressure water? Did you spray the window directly for a long time? I have this same problem if i use anything high pressure, just dont spray the window for too long with a high pressure spray and you wont have the water.
Yes, it's pretty common to have that happen after a car wash. I agree with what cliffdogg said, don't spray the windows seals directly with the hose. Also, if you've never done it before, apply some Shinetsu grease to the rubber seals where the softtop touches the frame/windows. This will keep your seals from drying out and should also help keep water from coming in
No, because the top goes over the window, as a type of lip so to speak. The only reason youre getting water in during a wash, is the side spray, rain falls down(in most cases) unless youre in high wind also, however, the wind shouldnt be strong enough to push the rain completely sideways, if it is, you should get your A$$ outta the rain and into a garage!
