Default water leak

I'm the original owner of an S2000, which now has about 103,000 miles. practically from the day i've owned the thing when it rains really hard i get water, alot of it, in my driver side foot well. it is NOT that the roof was down, unlatched, window open, cracked windshield, or anything else that is obvious. i brought it to the attention of my local honda dealer (bernardi honda, great guys) when it was under warranty and they tried but could not get it to replicate the problem. it's a drag because not only is it wet, but it gets funky smelling (wet rug under floor mat), and i wonder about the floor rusting, though that doesn't seem to be a problem yet. anyone else have this problem, and if so how can i fix it? there must be drain holes for the water in the car chassis, but where? thanks for your help, hopefully. other than this, the car is amazing; a little rocket ship; like a vacation every time i drive it.

I'm having similar issues with my MY00, its not bad, just a drip that domes from the edge of the plastic on the bottom of the driver side console. I only experience it when it rains heavily, I'm guessing there's a leak in the rubber molding around my windshield? I don't think there's a hole in the firewall though, least I hope not.

it does this on mine when i open the door. the longer i have it open when its raining, the more water the seems to drip. has to do with the seal on the side of the windshield that the door window presses against i think.

I had my fair shares of interior leaks, one was coming from the drivers side window which I fixed by modding the strikers. The other leak came from a rubber grommet that came loose on the firewall
