Thumbs up Thinking of moving on, turbo s2k or nsx

Hey everyone, I just want some general opinions on the situation I am in.

For my 05 AP2 I am toying with the idea of spending $6,000 on a Full-Race turbo kit + $500-700 on tuning + another $4,000 on suspension and drivetrain upgrades.

or

Use that money an buy me a 02-05 NSX

I think this depends on the type of person you are. The general crowd will be much more impressed with an NSX, but a turbo S would be much faster, and might impress you more. I think it's all in the way you look at what your money will get you.

My vote is the S.

I personally hate the NSX and wouldn't want one if I got it for free, so I can't say I'm unbiased on this...but I would turbo the S2K (which I have done, as I DD a turbo S2K).

Driving the NSX for me I love to driving postion and more "planted" feeling you get when your driving. Can only imagine what its like boosted. Also the "wow" when you are around people, even "car" people.

But i also love my "S", I still get the "what is that?" even thought mine is not debadged and clearly shows what it is. I love the gearbox and the basic "tight" feel of the car.

So this is a hard decision. I am hoping to by an NSX and keep my S as my DD.

For myself personally I'd tubro the S2K. The car is already impressive when it's stock, but turbocharged? It's going to be incredible! As for the NSX, I would stay away from it simply because it is too much of an attention grabber, which would make it difficult to live with as a dd. I'm someone who would love to own an exotic car but don't like the attention too much. It's nice to know people like you're car but not to the point where you can't fill up your gas tank quickly without getting questions from on-lookers... This is assuming you're trading in the S2K for the NSX... If I were in your position and I were to keep the S while also being able to own an NSX, I'd go for it. If you're trading in the S, do you really want to start over with a new car payment (assuming your S is paid off)?
As for you, I'm not sure what kind of person you are, whether or not you're trading in the S2K to get the NSX, etc. The decision depends on you.

Get a NSX, don't make the same mistake I've made. If I can re-do it again I would've gotten a NSX and turbo/SC it. I fell like superman when I drive my stock s2k, just image how it'll feel when you drive a FI NSX. Get the NSX!!!!!!!
