Thanks very much-ordered it and it's being made. Now do I have to worry about scratching? Not to mention the mice that have nested twice (once in the engine compartment, once in the trunk). The dealer said use mothballs but I'm afraid that will damage the paint. Why can't they nest in my old Subaru? I guess they like the new car smell. So aside from running the car once in a while in winter, any other winter ideas?

I will be storing my car for the winter. I plan on changing my oil as close to the last driving day as possible. I will be putting the car on jack stands, taking the wheels off. I will keep it covered and have a trickle charger for the battery.
I will probably paint my calipers and brakes during this period.
I will not be starting the car unless I can drive it.
