WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

Don't take this the wrong way but who cares what other people or the collective masses think?
What does it prove? Which car's enthusiast boards can get the greatest # of fanboys to vote?

Plus, if it gets the car recognition and keeps the value up then it's good for all of us

Who better to show how great the car is than thousands of owners? Personally I think it's more valid than a review from someone who drives it for a day.

The S2000 has gotten LOTS of accolades over the years, and it hasn't done much for new or resale values. This poll won't make bit of difference.

It's not cheating. We are playing withing the rules of the poll. One email account is good for one vote, simple. All the public will see are the final results. Nobody gets hurt and we enhance our S2000's image.
VOTE again, the spread is too close.

That being said, I have no problem taking advantage of this, since as you said, it doesn't hurt anyone and only increases our exposure. I myself have, of course, voted multiple times

I disagree. Playing within the rules of the poll does not necessarily mean that this is not "cheating." I think it's pretty clear that the creators of the poll intended for each person to have a vote, not each e-mail address. However, there is no way to enforce this, so they did the next best thing they could. Overall, though, their main goal is still to gauge what most people think is the best car. As an extreme example, if there was only one guy voting for a specific car and he won by using 10,000 e-mail addresses, everyone would pretty much agree that that would be "cheating" as far as this poll is concerned.
