It doesn't show anything other than that it has lots of enthusiastic owners, but winning still wouldn't make it any better than an F430, as an extreme example.

The S2000 has gotten LOTS of accolades over the years, and it hasn't done much for new or resale values. This poll won't make bit of difference.
I just don't have the energy to argue with you, so I'll just say you're wrong.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I guess I made a mistake selling the best sports car ever - maybe I should sell my Cayman S since it didn't win and buy a few S2000's w/ the proceeds.

You really think that many people think a FWD, 2+2 FTO is the best SPORTS CAR? I thought the definition of sports car included being only 2 seats. So the RX8 is out as well. The FTO and RX may be "sporty" but they aren't sports cars, so it shouldnt even be in the running.
Yeah, that list is pretty ridiculous as far as "sports cars" go. I'm not sure I would automatically exclude any car with more than 2 seats from the "sports car" category though. For example, I consider the Evo a sports car, but I guess the definition is pretty ambiguous.

[QUOTE]Don't take this the wrong way but who cares what other people or the collective masses think? As long as you know that car is the best is all that matters. I did vote though

Someone needs to troll the FTO boards and put an end to this. If we can start a flame war, the moderators will shut the thread down and people will loose interest. I can't keep making e-maill addresses

S2000: 23.9%

FTO: 23.2%

I believe that the statistical power is so strong now that to change it back in favor of the FTO would take over 50 votes. Yep...I believe that this thread is a wrap.

S2000 1
FTO 0

FTO = pwn3d

1st Mitsubishi
Ralliart FTO coupe (2000-2002) 21.3%
2nd Honda
S2000 (1999-) 20.2%
3rd Mitsubishi
RalliArt Galant VR4 (2000-2002) 14.3%

This is not good. We can come back from this point spread, we did it not too long ago. It will require about 40-50 votes to turn the tables.

I think nastinupe1 should be punished to make at least 15 new votes for giving us a false sense of security. His statement might have taken the wind out of our sail. We're getting owned now.
