Let's try not to overreact. Faning the flames is just going to make things worse. MASTERGRADE has had some problems in the past. They assure me these problems are just that, in the past. They have restructured and are looking to renew good relations with the members of this site and S2000 owners in general.

I welcome the change and I sincerely hope that these changes are for the better for everyone's sake. It's not unreasonable for there to be some hostility in light of past events but it's worth moving on.

Lets all sit back, wait to see their new products, give it a few months and then we will see .. I think they will make a change now that the company is more organized

BTW in the past I have had a good experiance with Perry and Will I hope now if I order stuff rom them I will get the same satisfaction

Good luck guys!

Here's a post a wrote on another thread considering Mastergrade...

-----------------------------

This is a reply to every who have had concern with Mastergrade and its past reputation.

From all the posting I've read and stories I've heard in person. Mastergrade is an excellent case study of an innovative small business who experiencesthe hiccups of a start-up small business. Previous GB problems arose of out suppliers' incompetencies. Granted that Mastergrade should have nipped this situation in the bud, they didn't and those who were involved with left bitter.

I've been to the Mastergrade site many times, seeing that I'm from the same city, and I've duelly impressed with both the operation and their people. Perry and Will are upstanding people who highly value their craft and industry position. I also talked to Khen, a recent addition to the Mastergrade team and he seems like a very sharp guy, economics graduate from the University of Massachusetts.

A couple of bad seeds, ie. previous customer service folks, have been let go. And other supplier issues have been addressed. It seems like they've done a bit of restructuring, and those who doubt Mastergrade's products and service need only to ask their recent customers.

I recently bought Mastergrade's Wide Body kit. Believe me it was a pretty penny and it was well worth it. Customer service was great and when we had some problems they were a phone call away, or I just drove over there. I'll be back there next week for some of their Carbon Fiber items. Perry has a unique eye for style and its shows in his designs.

So believe me when I say Mastegrade is back and will be a major force in the auto restyling arena.

lastly the Wide Body Kicks ass!!!

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't the problems arise from promises made by the GB organizer from the last go around and Mastergrade was just caught in the cross fire? I seem to remember that monies were taken and impossible promises were made by this person? Therefore Mastergrade could not meet delivery? Someone correct me if I am wrong.
