Weak Handbrake

I know, but it doesn't mean that whoever is starting it will remember to check that it is not in gear when they release the clutch .... I was however, talking in general terms not just this car...

I have the same problem with mine, parked it on a slight incline , came back and it was 3/4 of the way down the drive way, luckily on damage. This happened after about 3 hours. Couldnt believe my eyes when i saw the car, might get Honda to look at it next service

You need to adjust the parking brakes. According to the service manual, the lever should only click 9-13 when you fully engage the hand brakes. The wearing down of the rear brake pads, probably made the gap between the rotors and the pads wider, preventing the hand brakes from enganging fully. The weight of the car was then able to overcome the friction and push the car down hill.
