I know most people on this forum believe this intake to be "ricey" and cheap , but does anyone know if it produces any gains for our cars. I know it probably doesnt by itself ,but they have a special right now if you purchase an intake kit you get thier ram air kit for free. I was just thinking the ram air kit might actually make this intake produce hp.Any dynos? Please tell me your opinions or experiences with this intake.

 

I would stick with a K&N and gutted air box

 

there was a rumor before that it was the loudest intake you could buy. so if you care about sound maybe you'd wanna pick it up.

 

i wouldn't know off hand but i would probably say it wont help you at all. i have never heard any good responses about this intake. a stock box is an excellent setup already, but if you want a nice loud intake for cheap i have a short ram that you can have for really cheap.

 

It doesn't matter what kind of intake you get, none of them really add much power. Throttle response and sound are about the only gains you will see. However, I have heard all kinds of bad things about these intakes. 90% of the time, you get what you pay for.
