You wont gain anything with an intake on an S... well nothing that you can feel, maybe a little throttle response. Get one that is in your budget, you like the looks and sound of.

weapon r has a shitty filter... other than that an intake is just a pipe in most cases.

An intake is just an intake.. Unless your throttle body and air/fuel mixture is being adjusted for it you're not going to make a damn bit of power. In fact in most cases you lose a few.

Other than that It's all the same. Tubing and a filter... ARC/Top Fuel are no different, You're paying to have a name and thats about it.

Ahhh, makes sense. Never looked at it that way. An s2k is my first car, and I don't want to be going cheap on a nice car, if you know what I mean. In all, thanks for the help!

I have a weapon R intake, came on my car when i bought it. It actually works a little. i never cared for them but the throttle response is a tad better and the sucking air noise, sounds cool lol. i dont really care if it sux im boosting one day anyways. if you can get a used wep r intake for cheap go for it, intake = intake.

most important thing is to get the cooler air into the intake.. thats where the power comes from.
