Default Wearing boots in the S2K

Hi. I'm looking at a pair of black leather thick-soled boots online right now and like them. However, I'm thinking they might be kind of clunky when getting in and out of the S2000, and they might not be so deft when using the clutch and brake pedal.

Perhaps for an S2000 owner it's better to wear a pair of lightweight oxfords for ingress and egress and for proper dexterity and feel on the pedals. What do you think?

I used to be in the military and with combat boots it was a PITA! The worst thing was getting boot polish on my rocker panels! It made driving so annoying as well.. As for the Oxfords I have no comment.

Ha, this I have tried a few times. I have my steel toe work boots I drive in sometimes. It is manageable after a few tries but it can be a pain.

I totally understand. I'm in the military right now and I have a spa yellow and it make me so mad when getting in and out and I have to be careful not to scuff the side of the car with polish. I just always keep a rag under the seat so if I do I can wipe it off right quick. However I don't have a problem with feeling the clutch in them. Maybe because I drive in those an equal amount to driving in regular shoe's but It shouldn't be to dificult to adjust to.

I am a left leg below the knee amputee. I can't feel sh*t. I can out drive most of my friends when it comes to a manual trans. I feel your pain, as it's been a real issue for the last 6 years. Try not being able to bend your ankle. It makes for an interesting day.

It was worse when I first lost it. I would always be hitting the brake pedal at the same I
