[QUOTE=CHOWBOX,Nov 4 2006, 07:42 AM] I am a left leg below the knee amputee. I can't feel sh*t. I can out drive most of my friends when it comes to a manual trans. I feel your pain, as it's been a real issue for the last 6 years. Try not being able to bend your ankle. It makes for an interesting day.

I find it really annoying to wear any type of dress shoes or boots when i'm driving. Its much harder to feel the pedals, and if the shoes are wide, I can't rest my left foot on the dead pedal since it will be hitting the side of the clutch. You can still drive with them, but its not ideal.

Wow... I was about to post up and complain about how hard it is to get in/out of the S in tight spaces with boots on or how tough it was to get good pedal feel, but after reading your post, I think Im just gonna stop whining and deal with it.
btw... I think its really cool that you still drive a manual car even as a left leg amputee If I ever had to face a similar scenario, I imagine my passion for driving would dictate the same.
