I find it really annoying to wear any type of dress shoes or boots when i'm driving. Its much harder to feel the pedals, and if the shoes are wide, I can't rest my left foot on the dead pedal since it will be hitting the side of the clutch. You can still drive with them, but its not ideal.

I lost my leg on a Yamaha R1. I still ride although my wife hates it for obvious reason. I find shifting a bike the hardest. As I have to use my heal to grab the shifter to pull up on rather than get my toe under the shifter because my ankle does not pivot unless under load. I
