Default Weather strip on windshield

Lately I've noticed that the weather strip around my windshield is loose in one area about 40 mm long. I have a 2007 and it pisses me off. I'm a little nervous taking it to the dealer to get it replace because I know they will have to pull the windshield and re-seal it. I've heard that a lot of people have trouble with water leaks when their windshield is replaced and I don't want to have this happen.

I guess pretty much what I'm asking is what would you do?

Um, what would be the "right" forum for this?

My windshield trim is a little lifted around the top on the drivers' side but it doesn't bother me because it's minor.

Had this problem with my '06 when I first got it. I pushed it back in and it's been in place ever since.
I was using a soft bristle brush to clean the soft-top and I think the bristles somehow got under the weatherstripping and caused this.
If it ever happens again, I'm going to apply a little bit of silicone adhesive using toothpick which should help it stay in place.

FTW - same problem here. It seems like there's a little slack in the weather stripping and I'd guess that glue wouldn't be the right way to fix it. Anyone tried a different fix?

Mine has done it since day one. I just take a pin knife and tuck it back in.
