I know that unless you go with high quality dry carbon fiber that the OEM hood is about the same weight as the cheaper wet carbon hoods.

I'm sure you could save some weight on fenders as they are regular metal. Bumpers a plastic so carbon fiber might be lighter.

stock hood is very light. you can save a little weight on the fenders, but they're small and don't weigh too much to begin with.. not worth the price of CF pieces IMO. You'd be better off stripping weight in other areas like exhaust, header, tool kit, spare tire, etc.

In my opinion, your money would be much better spent on something else. While it may look good, if you are expecting any increase in performance you will probally be disappointed.

CF is strictly for looks, it is definitely not worth it in terms of weight reduction. Maybe 20 pounds for every possible piece on the car

There is a local S2k'er here in Modesto that has a carbon hood, carbon fenders carbon rear wing and replaced his air box with the J's racing setup.

He said that with those changes and nothing else, he shaved 21 lbs. of his car.
Hell I lost more weight than that changing out the exhaust on my car, and it was a hell of a lot cheaper too! Not to mention added a little bit of power!

If you want, I know a trick to loosing 25+ pounds and cost you less than $10. Eat a box of X-lax. You may get a bad case of the Mud Butt, but you will lose that weight
