How would weight affect a dyno? It's testing only engine power.

Here's what I would try

Add 80-90 pounds (ex using cast iron disks from a free weight set) and see if you can feel a difference.

That should give you a hint as to whether losing 80-90 pounds will matter to you.

I suspect people differ in their sensitivities to changes in their cars, just as people vary in their sensitivites to pain, noise, smells, temperature and other factors

eh. i dont feel like driving with a passenger really changes anything. its when your driving with passengerS that it makes a difference. but definitely if you're going to track your car, every lb counts.

I like Mr. Shelby's comment "To add more speed add less weight!" I once asked a tuner what was the cheapest way I could get more power and speed out of my car. He said "Go on a diet!"

Thanks,
Richard

I hope you don't think a "Butt Dyno" is an actual machine that measures horsepower.

I notice 90 lbs easily. I shaved off 210 pounds at one point and it was very noticeable.
