is 2834 lbs consider light for a s2k?

measurement was taken with 90-95% of fuel in car... and myself... at 175lbs. with hardtop on and no spare wheel.

i couldnt find any comparison via s2ki.com.

Mine was at 2790 or so with no spare tire and without my fat ass so I'd say +/- sounds light to me.

when people ask me how much it weighs i say 2800. good to know that i'm not estimating too far off. i should stop by a weigh station and check it for sure though.

 

That sounds way low, doesn't it? I thought the car was supposed to be 2800 lbs... without a driver?

Anyone else weighed it or has a good source? This estimate puts the car at like 26xx lbs... about the weight of a late Integra almost. I think it's light but not that light.

Yeah, that sounds very light.
My car, with me in it (145lbs) and a half a tank of gas was 2890. So no driver and no fuel, should be about 2710.
Your car, minus driver (175) fuel (60) and HT (49) comes in at 2550!
