Whoa! I like the new edit window. Very user friendly.
First impression: It does seem to be a bit busy
Second impression: If the rest is as friendly as the edit window I'm sure I will like it.
Now if Gregg would just remove that picture of the "Moon"... sick man, just sick.

I like the new edit window. It is much better for entering bold, underscore, images, links, etc.
I like the organization.
I read cdelena's comments but I do not see any speed slowdown.
I like having "search" available at each post.
I missed the board yesterday, but the upgrade is worth it.

looking more like ha.net now...
one diff is that they have a spell check button for posting.
dont know that its a big deal, but might be nice to have here.
is there a summary of changes somewhere that i missed?

I really, really dislike the new site. It has more features than Microsoft Word, which is not a good thing.
It took ELEVEN MINUTES to load this page in IE 5 for Mac OS 9.1.4 running on a PB G3 400 on a ~640k DSL. It took another three minutes to get into the message editing screen. Looked to me like a lot of image preloading and javascript crunching.
If this is the future of s2000online, I'm gonna spend a lot less time here. (I know, I heard you cheering!) Anyways, thanks for the big effort, guys. It's just the loss of useability that will keep me from coming back.
If it ain't broke...

- Blue-ish color scheme = good
- slow? Not for me, yet.
- convenience = good
- design? What design? The new logo is about as ugly as the previous one, only more blurry!
It's really a shame this part was done with a complete lack of taste and graphic knowledge...
Just my opinion...
here are a few exemples of well designed sites :

The only thing I've noticed missing is the ability to see how many people, if any are chatting without having to actually go into it first.
