The only thing killing me so far is the loss of the "Read unread threads" feature. In the past, I could click on this from the forums page and it would show me only new threads since last visited. Now it shows me all the active threads for the day. At midnight it resetes and is of no help to me as I don't really like looking at all the boring threads again. Also, how the hell do you subscribe toa forum?? Can't seem to figure that out.

I am all over this site and all the new cool features!!! Remember the last upgrade when the poll feature was introduced? People were all over that poll thing. My guess this time around will be the "avitar" feature...

If you don't like those sites no wonder you didn't like the stuff I submitted a few months ago...
They are multi-awards winning sites BTW.

Sorry for the "harsh words", but since it's my job, I have trouble keeping my opinion to myself.
Bravo for the work, I find the site functional and fast, and anyway I did not come here for design and beauty...

 

The only thing I miss are the star taht used to be above the gear indicator. Everything else is an improvement, especially the reply and edit screens.

 

BUG REPORT:

"ICQ Status" graphic dosen't always load and greatly delays page loading.

 

i want to thank everyone who works on and/or provides this board for us. It is an extremely cool resource/tool that I really enjoy. It is the perfect dose of sanity for me at work.

For the most part, I really like the changes. I am sure that some of it will take time to get used to and that there are bugs to be worked out. The only real complaint that i have is that it seems to be much slower than the old board was. Maybe that's just a function of having more people on the site????

You're never going to make everyone happy. With that said, I think the site is a bit too busy. It reminds me of every other message board. Just because you have many features, doesn't mean you need to use them all. I think all of the extra stuff makes the site seem 'less professional'. I really liked the simple look of the old design. I do like the avatar feature and I think the new post reply screen will help some users. Of course:
Now, we're going to see more of this
