Exclamation Went to the golf course this weekend

It was not because my ride was super clean, but because of this!

Two full size golf bags fit in the trunk! I had to take the drivers out of the bags but they fit in the trunk fine. I was laughing as people did the double take.LOL. I could tell they were surprised two bags fit in such a little trunk

If you take the spare tire and cover out they fit with the clubs in the bag. I do it all the time.

I believe the trunk was designed to fit two sets of clubs. Obviously not what the car was designed around - but it was mentioned to me when bought.

Looks like you could still get a pair of shoes in the nooks and crannies

Yup, two sets of clubs fit perfectly in our trunks! just put your golf shoes/coats in the tool well (also good for case of beer) and you can get everything in there no problem.

Most all sports cars are designed for this. Its part of the country club pissing contests that happen with a lot of sports car owners so its something manufactureres factor into design.

Yup, I too have to remove the drivers. Then I can get 2 bags in and keep my neighbor smiling all the way to the course

Last gen MR2, Solstice / Sky.... nope.

Anyone try this with a Boxster? I know you can fit two in a Cayman, but wasn't sure about a Boxster.
