Were there any options when ordering an S2000?

In the US, I believe the car's only option was color until the CR, and it could be optioned with or without radio and AC. I know 00-01 cars had optional wind screens and floor mats - not sure if that is a factory option or dealer installed though.

In addition to them, there were various lips, spoilers, wings, side strakes, cargo nets, cd players, satellite radio, hard top, alarm, shift knob, etc...

In UK and Europe however, you could order a regular S2000 or a GT - basically an S with a hard top.

I believe the head light washers were a Euro thing only. Not sure about the rest of the world.

Definitely not available here in America.

In 2001 the only options for the S2000 were as follows:

OEM Hardtop $2500
OEM Front lip spoiler $400
OEM Side strakes $400
OEM Trunk lip $400
OEM Trunk cargo net $75
OEM Floor-mats $50

Again....these are dealer ACCESSORIES, not options. I know, it sounds like I am splitting hairs. There are exactly zero factory options for an S2000, save for the AC/Radio delete options on the CR models. An option is something done at the factory, difficult to retrofit. Honda keeps production costs low by building all the cars the same on the factory line. The dealer offers a handful of additional accessories at delivery. In addition to the above - alarms, car covers, and I'm sure a couple more I'm forgetting.

Correct. None of those things listed would be found on the window sticker, so they weren't factory options.

I've never seen one. Probably not that many at all out there. Would be interesting to see.
