i went 27% on side windows (legal in south carolina.) rear is like 5% not legal no issues i had 5% double layered on my last car never got pulled over, however my friends got pulled over alot for lighter tint then what i had.

 

I have 35% sides, 20% rear (hardtop), softtop has 35% rear.. I like the heat rejection factor of my high quality tint and the look it gives. I did it for my own comfort when driving in the sun, although the protection of the interior must help too.

I'm looking into getting 30% for the fronts, I have a rear glass But I don't think I want to tint the glass. I already have trouble seeing outside of it at night time.
