Ok, this thing was lurking in the secret compartment when I brought her home from the dealer. What the heck is it?




WOW!!! Two replies in as many minutes! Thanks, guys. Once I turned the rvm to see behind (in front of?) it, it was painfully obvious that little guy belonged right there. Now I wonder why it was off. Perhaps the windshield had been replaced and it wasn't put back on, or maybe it fell off or was making noise. We'll see...

it covers the bottom of the rear view mirror connection. give it a little queeze (sides together to flex some tension into it) and then slide it back into place.... it should be fine for a good long while.

Haha, I knew from the thread title even before clicking. This happens (cover falling down from mirror) more than you'd think. Maybe Honda should fix it......yeah right!
