Bass,

That steak looked delicious but wtf is up with those potatos, man? Mashed with cheese or something? Or just a mashed sweet potato? Fill me in...
Those would be mashed sweet potatoes and the steak was a prime rib out of my showtime set-it and forget it - NOW that is worth every penny!!

Although this post has a lot of petty arguing and the topic is going all over the place, it has some very good info! I am just waiting for more info on the open/closed loop at certain % of WOT on the ecu. If you read past all the garbage, this is an awesome post for anyone thinking about a VAFC. Everyone has given me great information. Kayvan does need to take a debate class(to learn to cool off ), but nonetheless he still gives good info and points!

I wish I could help with the throttle position, I had mine set at 10 and 50 percent. Now I'm running the 80/81 percent like suggested in that one thread.

I also agree; aside from the bickering there is a lot of good info in this thread. I would defiantly like someone to come by and clear up the question with the open loop and closed loop of the ECU and what percentage (if any) this happens at as I will be receiving my VAFC II soon.

[QUOTE=kayvan_pour,Jan 13 2006, 04:10 PM] I'm friends with everybody in the bay area forum, those are the only people i really meet.*

I'm not a shit head at all,**

Then people come in hear talkin trash about the vafc... I find that to be annoying, so I speak on it. So what ***

And if I get ignored oh well, I know pretty much every thing I NEED to know about the car as far as what i'm planning on doing to it. ****

And if I get flamed oh well, I really don't care, it's just the internet... And I have plenty of friends on here so I'm not worried about any of that happening...

* I've met many of the Bay Area forum members and have had dinner with them and raised a drink with them and have gone on drives with them and NO, you aren't friends with "everybody" there. I know of many who wouldn't give a character like you the time of day and they are in your local area.

** I didn't say you were. You made the assumption that I did. I was speaking in a philosophical sense.

*** You call it "trash talking". In actual fact, this is merely another opinion. It's the fact that you construed it as "trash talking" that is your greatest shortcoming. This limitation easily exposes your age and maturity.

**** So, you have EVERYTHING you need, huh? OK, we'll remember that.

***** You don't care if you get flamed? You obviously do care, since even the slightest opposing view has you name calling. Yeah, I'd say you car a LOT.

****** And you don't think RUDENESS deserves the kind of responses you get?

I'm done with this thread as this is getting WAAAAAY off topic. I grow tired of trying point out your flaws and help you understand better how to get along here. Good luck to you in life. Until you gain some maturity, civility and humility, you're going to need a lot of it. This is not a flame. It's a statement of fact.

One last comment as I believe you deserve this.

You may have taken a big step in your journey by the way you've understood and accepted my constructive criticism.
May you continue forward rather than stumble backwards from this point.
