I had one guy say it was a gay chick car and a few of the miata comments but mostly positive commentary.

 

I can only squeak out a mere 8k...

To studentdriver - yes, he must be jealous. He has 2 kids and bought his Odyssey about a month before I brought home the S and parked it in my driveway. I live directly accross the street from him so my S is parked exactly opposite his huge front living room window. I can basically give him and his family the finger while they eat breakfast from my car outside.

 

The 06 leather really sucks. Nothing wrong with speaking the truth. I don't agree on the paint anymore though since we have extended warranty on 06 models (12 instead of 6 years (also on the new civic and new accord)

 

Woman: "Excuse me, but what kind of car is that? A Honda......"
Me: "It's an S2000"
Woman: "It replaced the Solara right?"
Me: "ugh, no. The solara is a Toyota..."

 

tell him he should call it the refined suspension geometry S2000.

 

Glorified Miata

 

Some chick at the gas station asked me if it was the bottom of the exotics. I told her it's no "I work at a gas station cavalier" but it gets the job done. She didn't like that too much.

 

Shouldn't that be S2200?

 

I've gotten condesending smirks from people in traffic. I pulled up to a kid in an old Audi A4. I waved at him because I'm an Audi owner as well. He smirked and looked away and seemed to think he was better than me! I pulled out my Audi key fob to my A8 and jingled it in front of him! Then, I pulled away from him with VTEC goodness. I know Audis can be tuned to be very fast, but I don't look down upon anyone materialistic wise. People are in different situations and economic levels.

Another time, I drove my S home to visit the folks. I met up with some highschool friends and a girl remarked "oh, I didnt know it was a honda" with a condesending tone. The night before, I took her for a ride, and she thought it was a Ferrari or something. This coming from a person who drives a 80 something Chevy Caprice.
