I need to replace the rear tires and I'm redoing the audio need the spare tire space. I'd like to ditch the spare in favor for good performance run flats. Can anyone recommend a brand/model? I won't be autox or driving crazy but would like something decent. thanx

 

I'm of the impression that "good performance" and "run-flat" are an oxymoron.

Goodyear has put the most effort into making a decent run-flat tire, so your best bet may be the Goodyear Eagle F1 EMT or the Eagle GS-C EMT. EMT is Goodyear's acronym for run-flat (I think it stands for Extended Mobility Technology).

 

Exactly! It is hard to believe any sound system would be worth living with run-flat performance.
