Sacrilege!

Though this could be the opening for some amusing games... What can you do with a Boxster, a Z3, or a Miata to "spruce them up"? I am sure we could come up with some fascinating ideas...

damn, you guys are harsh! I think its pretty kick ass! but that's my take. all of the F20c's being put into smaller cars - just because its not badged as a Honda.. heck! just look at the street rod guys, they have chevy motors and ford rear ends - they don't call it sacrilege!

I think it's pretty sweet. There's a local shop here that has put an F20C into a custom frame they built - total weight is about 1100lbs. That car is fast.

Well at least the oil filter is easy to get too... It's probably a massive improvement. the old British sports car engines used thick wall casting for many years. I don't know when they stopped. You could put a ford 289 in a British car and only add 20 lbs to the curb weight. Of course, one hard launch and the chassis turns into a twist cone. This car will be a screamer and I'm sure they won't be complaining about too little torque.

Still is I had to make the decision, I would have stated with a whole S2000 and trashed the Triumph. What was he thinking?

Sacrilege?!

No way. I bet this motor came out of a wrecked S2000 and dropped into this little soon-to-be monster. It looks like he races with the SCCA stickers on the car.

I admire this kind of thing. Lots of ingenious work needs to be implemented to accomplish this...and that will be one crazy fast Spitfire!

Kudos!
