Default what can i do....

i am really interested in buying an s2000, but i wanted to get on here and ask a few things before i do it. right now i have a 240sx with an sr20det. i test drove an s2000 and LOVED it, but i want to know how hard it is to bump your torque up significantly, i already know that a stroker kit would help so count that out. i love everything about the car i just like my cars to have the bad ass throttle response from high torque.

You know, gears multiply torque. Learn to downshift.

High torque and S2000 don't match. I think to get it to where you'd want it, best option would be going FI, which is $$$.

Sounds like you'd like a 350z a bit more since that thing is a torque monster compared to the S2k, haha.

An S2000 with 4.77 gears will pull significantly harder than the stock rear end, so replacing the rear end will give you the squirt you want even though you're not making any more torque.

Its a good first step and if you're still not happy, you can add a SC or turbo. I'd look at AP1s for F1 and gears though.

yea, this car is about revs....not torque. 2.0L engines with that high a compression ratio cant compete with the big boys in torque so get used to revving the car....trust me it doesnt hurt it.
