What can you fit in your trunk? Let's start a competition.
Last night we went up to Bay State Motorsports and met with Ken, S2Krazy, and checked out some of the cars up there. Sat in an NSX for the first time. (Wow is that thing low to the ground!) Anyways on the way home my g/f and I stopped to look at rugs.
Now I've fit a few bags, laundry, etc back there. Even my acoustic guitar a few times but last nights performance takes the cake....
I swear on my life, I fit a 5x8' area rug in the trunk of the S2000! I should have taken a picture!

When I had my '00 S2000, my fiance and I put 1 LARGE bag of mulch, 1 LARGE bag of wood chips, and a few assorted items in the trunk at the same time
........and it wasn't even my daily driver
. Oh yeah, we had a snow shovel in the passenger compartment too
.
I've also put grass seed and lime back there (in a closed bag so as not to make a mess in the trunk
) at another moment in time.
It's AMAZING what you can put in the S2K's "little" trunk!

This is more a clever observation than a "Wow, guess what I got in my trunk" but it might be good for others to know.
At an AutoX you need to empty out you car like you do at the track. My first AutoX this year was on a very rainy weekend. I pulled out the foam tray in the bottom of the trunk and was able to put into the trunk a Rubbermaid 18-gallon plastic tote with cover. It fit perfect and the trunk closed, no problem. When I got to the AutoX, I pulled it out and had a very dry place to put all my stuff, like my camera.
I was really amazed it fit so perfect, those 18-gallon totes are deep!

Two golf backs w/full sets of clubs, two duffel bags for a 5 day stay in Myrtle Beach. Still had room for some souvenirs and Maistro 1/18 scale S2000 on the return trip.
I've got a large wheeled cooler that fits with no problems.
