I used to always want a 911, but I've lost that desire since the S2000 fulfills most of the qualities that I wanted in a 911.
My next car will probably be a more luxurious "family car", like a 5-series BMW or a Mercedes. Before that, though, I'll probably buy a tow vehicle to take the S2000 to the track.

I know that the 'S' is a keeper for sure. Got really spoiled with this car. Looking at a 2002 BMW M roadster and hope to have it in the garage withing the next few months. Another car that I would love to see in my garage is a 1966 Jaguar E-Type. Have not yet convinced my friend to sell, but am working on it.

I was thinking of get a Trailblazer to replace the Camry beater, and I always wanted a Grand National for a Project.

There are several options:

1) NSX. A definitely upgrade while still retaining the S2000's character. Totally unreasonable since it's so much more expensive, however. You can get used ones for cheap, but they'll have a lot of miles and would possibly be in worse condition than the S2000 it's to replace.

2) Something more luxurious/practical. G35, Tacoma, Element, whatever. A definite departure from the S2000's intent, but it suits some people better.

3) The only car that's harder/edgier than the S2000 - the Elise. A fair bit more expensive, but possibly worth it.

4) A new S2000. Quite a few changes in them '04s...

I got an '04 S2000 to replace the '00 S2000. I don't like it as much so I'm thinking of replacing it with an '03 or an Elise. What I really want is a proper S2000 Type R, but Honda hasn't seen fit to bestow one upon us.

The S is a keeper for me, I'm not one to switch cars often, more likely to collect them

Anyway, to add to my collection I'm thinking next is some 4wd turbocharged 4-door for winter snowboard duty
