my next vehicle(s) will either be a Greddy TT 350Z, or an old muscle car like a 70 Cuda, or Mustang Mach I, being towed in a trailor by a Chevy 454SS. i've had 3 imports now with the S being the most recent and that's why im leaning towards something different such as an old muscle car. But the 350ZTT sounds pretty cool too...but its ANOTHER import...who knows, PEACE. -Chris

I'm certainly not a "Vette Hater" but rather a "Vette Disrespecter" I've never been one to worship at the alter of brute force, and I guess it's just me. I'm also not one to buy used cars, especially used sports cars. If I was going to spend that kind of money, I'd think of an Elise. I guess I'm just a "less is more" kind of guy.

Mark, We'll have the original 2000 and a new 2004 to compare back to back for a few months. Our 2000 car is stock, but it was our race car and it has a pretty aggressive alignment on it but since we were running it in AS, that's about it. I'm looking forward to the comparison, but sad to see my Spa car go.

For our 2005 (if we went with our fourth S2000) I'm leaning toward New Formula Red. We cannot get Silverstone (same as what we have), Suzuka is out since that is the color of our soon to arrive '04, Black is too hard to care for (I park in the sun all day), White is only available with Tan (shows too much dirt and I'd really want a Tan top to match), Rio is too close to the Spa we have now, Sebring is a possibility but I've grown accustomed to brighter colors. This leaves Red. If they made Long Beach or Monte Carlo Blue I'd snap it up in a heartbeat, same for Imola Orange!

I don't hate the Vette, either... in fact, I rode in one for the first time the other day- my boss'. .. But one thing that I notice is that every time I see a Vette rolling down the street or highway, they always look like they are driving em aat exactly the speed limit. Perhaps its the creeping look of the new vette's or the fact that the owners tend to be a little older (no offense). Just my two cents.

I can't help but speed in the S.. it's the only way it's fun to drive. One day a few months ago, I was going on a longish trip (a few hours) and went for the cruise control and literally couldn't find the button. I had owned the S for 8 months at that point. I knew where it was when I bought it, but just never used it.

But thank god, I never lose the start button or the gas release.
