I have an ap2, there is this circle between the trip mileage and and the high beam light.

It looks like it could light up but I have no idea how to get it to light up or it's purpose.

My car didn't com with a manual, and I couldnt get a search to come up on it.

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one that is looking for this info.

 

It's probably an awesome light. I'm just not awesome enought yet.

 

It's for the OEM alarm, flashes when armed.

 

If im memory servers me i think that's the factory alarm light. I could be wrong?

You can. Try searching for it in the Electronics subforum. I seem to recall the wire is accessible in the left kick panel.

 

When and how often does it flash. I hit the lock button on my remote to lock the doors but I have never seen this flash. Granted I've only looked for it a few times and only for several minutes but still no flash. I get the green key looking indicator when turning the ignition on/off. Is there such a thing as an optional factory alarm and maybe mine just has basic keyless entry? Mine is an 07.

The only OEM alarm was a dealer installed option.
